Its still the same game as release, there is no A-life, AI is still subpar, NPCs dont have any interesting interactions with each other or the zone, mutants all charge you the moment they see you, radiation is still a non-issue, the game is still really easy, the weapon progression is still shit, the map still feels empty and boring to explode, there are no distant fights or interesting interactions or exploration, stashes are still random trash.

What have they changed? mutants are less tanky, and i uhhh.. i think they fixed some bugs? they added 2 weapons, and they made the graphics worse so the game runs better, lots of "a-life improvements" in the patches but the NPCS are still fucking braindead, the only difference i have noticed is that they sometimes loot each other, NPCs still spawn around you and aimlessly walk around, is just a bigger range now so there's some illusion of an A-life system that doesnt exist and it will never be implemented because GCS lost their talent and unreal engine will never be capable of replicating A-life without tanking the game performance in consoles.

the visual issues on release were so shit that even with the downgrades i still think the game looks better
not a high bar though, it doesnt look particulary good and the game itself sucks balls

Isn't "lost" more accurate considering GSC dissolved and most devs joined either Vostok Games (Survarium) or A4 (Metro), left Ukraine or were actually killed during the war, is not like an obsidian situation where all the talent gets replaced by a bunch of browns and women.
