You really hit the nail on the head, it is literally the only card game that exist and actually be fun to play as a normal ass card game. The Gameboy Pokemon TCG is like the closest to pure enjoyable of just playing a card game that comes to mind unless you want to count minigames like the ones on .Hack//G.U. or Shovel Knight.
