Speaking of zombie games. Some people are calling Vein the next Project Zomboid. I'm somehow doubting that's the case too. Everyone says they made something better but it is rarely the case. It's either something like 'we made the crafting better' 'we made X aspect better' but it's rarely about them making the zombie game better. I see some people claim Project Zomboid is artificially hard due to it's jank, but i don't believe that to be the case or at the very least that's a half truth. No one has just successfully managed to make the hard zombie game. Very little to do with the controls or camera perspective. The melee combat itself has just not been transferred in a meaningful way in any other game.
