Did you not read the OP? AC Shadows "broke boundaries". It includes amazing innovations like

It’s not something Bedard considered before (“It’s like G.I. Joe said: Knowing is half the battle,” he joked), but it was something that he could more easily implement early in the development process once he knew it would be helpful for players with visual impairments.
I've literally never seen this feature in a game ever before. And it took the devs talking to a legally blind person for it to even occur to them such a feature might be helpful when your map is cluttered to fuck with icons.
