When did you become like Cranky Kong, /v/?
When society got flip turned upside down and never became the same.
I'm so fucking scared of aging bros.I'm not even 25 which is when you're supposed to start "feeling it" but I've already started doing things like regular cardio and eating less sugar which are supposed to slow down aging. I also don't do drugs or alcohol and avoid expressing emotion on my face so I don't develop wrinkles.
>>729060256I think Pokemon was what did it. I could instantly tell the versions gimmick was built from the start to get the obsessive types to buy multiple copies of the same game no matter how much they insisted officially that wasn't the intent. Nowadays they don't even bother hiding it and sell dual-version bundles physically and digitally.
>>729060735>I could instantly tell the versions gimmick was built from the start to get the obsessive types to buy multiple copies of the same gameIt was actually so that back in the '90s when people actually had friends, you could have your friend get one version while you got the other and you were supposed to trade to help each other finish the pokedex. The real-life social element of pokemon has been long lost since the '90s and early '00s due to things like the internet and smartphones, but they still keep doing the dual games things. There will never be anything like pokemania ever again, with kids bringing their gameboys/DSs to school and sharing what they found in their pokemon games ever again. It was lightning in a bottle. And it's gone.

Is it too late to fix my life, bros?
>>729060256I actually started like Cranky Kong and mellowed out with age.
>>729060256gradually around 2020>rdr2 turned out to be 90% cutscene and pseudo cutscenes while holding x, and that tops the charts and people call it a legendary must play game >sequels in general started feeling like downgrades rather than a upgrade to the franchise (animal crossing for example)>just remake/remaster everything>ps5 quite literally has no games>every game I had some hype for just turned to shit >but its ok we patched it to be slightly less shit! >wokeness went full pedal to the metal (and the coof hysteria(to make it vidya related everything skyrocketed in price)) and worst of all is the industry shills that defends this, it feels like people have a way harder parasocial relationship to the industry nowadays and can't let it get the crash it deserves
>>729060256somewhere around 2003
>>729060554If aging truly scares you enough that you are living a healthy life out of fear for the one guarantee in life, you should just kill yourself and save yourself the existential crisis
