And then, the third route to swamp area can "softlock" you if pick up the item at the end so you can either choose to "go for bad ending" (exploring the swamp is required for the best ending) or sacrificing the bomb you will get at the end of the optional level. Additionally you can just start a new cycle by leaving the town but fuck doing level 1 again.
