I love this game. I played KH1 at a friend filipino friend Justin's house, I was so impressed by the graphics and the Playstation 2. I had only seen a home console the N64 at my brother's friends house and they didn't let me play. I remember doing the intro sequence Destiny Island tutorial and just loving jumping around and the colors of the ocean and trees. Anti-Form is always badass and that mod that lets me pop it on command made me wish it was a permanent unlock after getting it once a la Final. It is the 'inverse' of Final after all, and it honestly shreds about the same if you know how to use it well. Probably the hardest one to use next to Master, but once you figure out the parry frames and Anti-Glide (which should've been unlockable for base Sora) you will tear shit up. Master, similarly, has a high skill ceiling. When I first played I didn't get it, but once you start actually chaining the spells into the combos the expression you can get out of it is unmatched by any other form in the game, even Final. Love them both.

I really liked kh as a kid, I played 2 when I got it at a midnight release at walmart, pretty much 24h, I think I made it to the demyx fight, and just couldn't do it, fell asleep. I had so much fun playing it. Butafter I beat 2, I just completely stopped caring. It took SO fucking long for everything to come out after that I just no longer gave a shit. I went from being in middle school to having graduated high school by the time 358/2 came out. I was a sophomore in college when BBS did.

Then when you factor in things like Japanese Final Mix versions having English VAs it comes off as English being the canon. I'm not sure if the Neku line is like that in Japanese but if it is then there's some weird inconsistency with exactly what they want Sora to be that won't really be answered because outside preestablished Disney characters it won't outright say he's Asian.
