Do you actually 100% games or do you beat em once and quit?
Last game i 100%ed was Isaac Rebirth in 2017. Put over 1000 hours into it and then never touched it again

I don't like this video.

>Every achievement in EUIV
>>
>>729075710
Every time I tried 100% a game it turned to be a completely unfun experience. No I don't think collecting 100 golden ballsacks spreaded out in the map is fun.
>>
>>729075710
Depend on the games. If there is an objective on the map, I will do it 90% of the time. I'm a sucker for Ubisoft style open world games/collecthathons. Give me a map with a bunch of checkmarks and I'll do it.

But if it has a "beat the game on Hard mode" I dont care.

>Achievement to play an online match with a dev
>>
>>729075710
if I ever 100% it's entirely by accident. Hunting achievements is the dumbest thing I can think of in gaming.
>here's a game
>here's a less interesting game we've inserted into the game
>>
I don't focus on doing achievements at all because they usually feel forced. They're only fun when there's some legitimate challenge behind them like idk finishing the game on the hardest difficulty but I usually do those and don't give a shit about the rest. The only plat I I've done so far is Sekiro and it's only because all the different endings allowed me to max my stats out wirhout grinding during the NG+ progression.
>>
>>729075803
This video made me angry. If the beaver would have pierced its shell I would have beaten the Beaver to death if I was in the same room as it.

the only game i've ever 100% is spyro year of the dragon

i didn't like doing it that much

I only 100% games if I feel like it would be fun. When a game stops being fun it is no longer worth being played as fun is the entire point. So no, i'm not grinding out levels too get a few percent on a stats screen or some achievement.
>>
>>729075710
I have never 100% a game. I play games until I don't feel like playing anymore then I play something else. When I play a game I really like I do lots of bonus and side content and general messing around in the world but I'll not gonna pull out a list and make sure I get every single thing. Game are about fun and enjoyment. If I enjoy collecting in a game I collect but I never feel a compulsion to do every single tiny last detail just to see a number go up. That seems stupid. That being said lots of games nowadays will tell you in the menu your "percentage" and I've definitely come close in a game or two but it was natural not some autism fueled goal. My mindset is the same for achievements.
>>
>>729075710
When I was younger, I'd 100% them.
Now? If I feel even the slightest amount of boredom, I quit.
>>
>>729075710
If there's a main story I stop playing it after beating it. If it's any open sandbox game ala minecraft I usually 100% it

depends how much I enjoy the game.
>>
with the sheer amount of games available and how cheap they are, i dont usually spend much time on a game if it doesnt click within the first couple of hours. if it does click im ready to grind.
>>
>>729075710
If the game is 30-40 hours and I really liked the game I might gun for 100%.
Youll never catch me 100%ing a 100+ hour game though. I get my ending and that's that.
Games I 100&ed include Liar Princess and Blind Prince, Cruel King and Great Hero, Ender Lilies, Ender Magnolia, Valthirian Arc 2, etc.
But Skyrim, Cyberpunk 2077, Pathfinder WotR, BotW? No way.
>>
>>729075710
>Beat game
>Play it to get every ending
>Get every faction, every skill unlock
>Maybe do something like "do every side quest in the game"
>Get to the achievements that require you to get like a perfect speedrun with no damage taken
>Give up
>Also give up when matchmaking achievements exist for old games that the servers don't run anymore on

Nier Automata was the best game to tackle this situation, you could either do the achievements genuinely or just buy them from an in-game vendor.

>>

Just search your PS3 username on psnprofiles bro
Btw nine sols is on the latest humble bundle, worth it?
>>
>>729079485
I think so. It's the most fun I've had getting good at a game in a long time. I had a melty at the final boss my first run, deleted my save then came back months later and beat the whole thing in a couple days. 10/10.
The bundle price is Nine Sols's historic low and you also get Intravenous 2 so it's probably the best deal you'll see for a while outside of keyshops or just pirating it.

Depends on the game.
>game sucks = drop
>game in OK = finish
>game is great = reply couple of times, 100%
>>
depends on the game. I only 100% maybe 1 in 10 games I play, it has to be the perfect storm of me loving the game a lot and the achievements being reasonable and not grindy
the last games I 100%ed this year were Stellar Blade, Pirate Yakuza, and Suikoden 1+2 remaster
I typically lose all interest in a game after finishing the story even if I had plans for postgame or ng+ or whatever
>>
>>729075710

>>

Huh? If you didn't 100% the game, then you didn't beat it yet.
>>
>>729075710
depends on the game and what 100% it entails. i'm not 100% a fucking yakuza game but i might 100% a game where there's just a few random things to do at the end.

just to clarify, when you say 100% you aren't talking about trophies, right? Obviously you haven't 100%ed the game if you haven't fully masted the mechanics, learned all the strategies, 1cced it on the hardest difficulty, done challenge runs, etc

>>

In the end most women will be with men who just are nice and funny, you don't even need to be an 8/10 to get a girl, the problem is that we have the autismos problem and women get repelled from us.
>>
>>729084872
99% of games nowadays have achievements that are basically "play for 30 minutes the story" yet most of these achievements are usually at 70% players having it, so 30% of people literally bought the game and couldn't even be arsed to open it.

I beat the game without looking at any guides, not even the cheevos list. >>
>>729075710
beat them once and then quit. unless I replay it a bunch and there's no super difficult achievements. dark souls and its achievements are a good example of how far I'm willing to go to 100%. I'm not doing any "replay the entire game on hard difficulty" type of achievements though
