In Star Wars everyone wears robes, you can typically tell when its something for that setting based on this, and Star Trek has really basic uniforms, but again, you can still tell what it belongs to.Are these just normal clothes in this setting? Is this a status symbol to wear certain clothes? What is the culture and how does this outfit inform it. Is this the typical look of people of that faction? None of this can be answered because there is no answer. They just desgned "sci fi armour" and put no thought into it. Theres no motiffs or distiguishing elements to any of it, even Concords "we saw Moebius art and tried to do it ourselves and failed" shit that makes it easily recognizable as Concord where if you designed a character in that setting there is definately an aesthetic that makes it look distinct to that setting.The design says nothing about the character, their background and the universe it takes place in, and it could be anything.
