Playing picrel for the first time. Anyone else like it more than the original? It's basically an abridged, movie version of RE3 and it's kino imo. Nemesis was better in the original though
I personally do not like it better than the original
>>729092453It's pretty good, I like it more than Nemesis. The game is a little too hard at times, but I can deal with it.
It feels like an expansion for RE2R. Really underwhelming and forgettable overall.
>>729092453It's actually good just a bit short.
>>729092453There isn't a single real survival horror fan who thinks this even gets close to the original. They practically deleted half the game and sold it for double. I will never forgive Capcom for cheaping out with their B-Team in RE3 when RE2 remake got such a great entry...
Nah I played both the OG and this for the first time this year, and its worse. It has was less exploration/backtracking and key items so it feels like a more linear action game especially once you enter RPD as Carlos onwards. The streets of the city feel so much smaller/contained, like the gas station is just a cinematic moment with Carlos. The Nemesis chase scenes are also alot worse
>>729092453i liked it
REmake 2 and Mr X really fucking destroyed any impact Nemesis could have had for me in REmake 3.I don't care if he's got the tentacle that trips you. Big, wide streets mean I can just run right past you, bozo.
>>729092453Very disappointing compared to RE2R but it's pretty fun to complete all the challenges since it's so short and simple.
>>729092453They massacred my girl's personality.
>>729092453No, it's shit and you should kill yourself for your shit taste
>>729092453The hospital is the only part that feels resident evil. If they could’ve expanded the whole game to be like that it would’ve been cool
>>729094847All the characters are worse in design and personality, even Carlos. The new UBCS costume is generic trash and they remove a lot of cool stuff like the supervisors, people who defend this game deserve the most painful death
>>729095115The hospital design is quite the downgrade compared to the OG/Outbreak
>>729092453>Anyone else like it more than the original?no, but I did think it got shat on more than it deserved.
>>729095893If anything people should shit on this game way more
>>729092453Anyone who likes this downgrade has shit taste.
>>729092453>Anyone else like it more than the original? No.And I'm not just answering for myself. I'm saying that nobody else likes it more than the original.
NuJill is sexy as fuck, and anyone saying otherwise is a faggot. I never fapped to Jill and Claire until Sasha and Jordan were introduced, and now they're part of my regular rotation.
>>729096101idk the OG is infinitely better, but so is 2's OG. 2 remake towed the line better but the ground work for all the same flaws are still there.like I said though, I still enjoyed it regardless.
i think the game is fine on its own merits. like a 7/10 if i'm being honest with myself. inherently copying and pasting over RE2 remake's gameplay gives it high points already. i like some of the side characters better in the remake too, and appreciated that they fleshed out Tyrell beyond being in like one scene in the original.as a follow up to RE2 remake, i just think it's underwhelming, too short and too linear. but as a remake of the original RE3 though, it really is a complete shambles.i wish they had more recognisable landmarks, in Raccoon City especially. like in RE2 remake, the police station is incredibly faithful to the original with a few variations here and there. but RE3 remake, there's like no particular area that resembles anything in the original... outside of the police station reuse. half the selling point for game remakes is gamers that played the original revisiting moments and areas from their childhood, and there's no nostalgic factor in that aspect for this.no particular part of Raccoon City resembles the original, none of the buildings like the office, or restaurant or gas station were brought back, no park, and obviously the entire clock tower not being present at all basically. i will say i liked the hospital better in the remake, despite it also not really resembling the original in any major way, outside of the tape recorded puzzle.but like i said i still think its okay. if i had no knowledge of the original, i would still its fine on its own, if rather short. but knowing the original, it just feels like a mess.
>>729092762It's good for 10$, I pity those poor souls who paid 70$ on release day
>>729095893>more than it deservedPeople praise it when its 10 dollarsIt launched full price
