Isometric Souls with mild ARPG mechanics like rerolling affixes on gear to get crazy rolls. Very good level design, loops back to earlier areas with shortcuts alot and its layered so jumping from a high spot tends you land you somewhere you've been earlier.

This is basically a modern take on Vagrant Story minus the ost from Sakimoto. A very good game but obviously unfinished in its current state.

They actually make sense for the games' vision, they just feel slightly stale because the whole town/multiplayer mechanic is very half baked and doesnt do itself justice as a living world. But trust me, if you actually play it, you probably wont mind timers. And im not saying this to shill, i actually think the game is slightly fucked up, in which there are 999x bigger concerns than the timers. timers are a non issue
