The forced time investment killed all the fun™ for me. Just the thought that I physicalle HAVE to log on in a set interval to keep my progress just killed all the interest I had in the setting. Everything else about the game, the atmosphere, the gameplay itself, the lore, questing; all of it felt engaging.

TL;DR: Timed mechanics should not exist in an mmo style game.
