I liked Wyll. He may be a one-note moralfag, but when the rest of the party is "grey" it made him more interesting for me. Kept him in my group for most of the game. I just didn't like seeing his zesty little dance though after I left him alone at the Act 1 party.Also, Ekun from Kingmaker is what you're looking for.
The problem with Will is that the stakes of his fraud are his vanity.His demonic contract allows him to be a goodie two-shoe even though he's a demons pawn.He'd be a much more interesting character if some times his contract had forced him to kill innocents or something morally gray that he can be tortured about.As things stand he's bland.
