On the new mode, yes. Lunatic FEs vary wildly between entries, though. I would say they're about the same. Endgame FFT on Tactician is way harder than the beginning though, which is different from most games where it gets easier. The knights and mages the game throws at you are monstrous.

Cyber Sleuth is comfy for the vibes and then halfway through it becomes a much shittier ff8 story. The "villain" is actually pretty cool though, can't hate on him at all.
World 1 is great for a fun ride exploring wherever and having fun. Re:Digitize has similar vibes but it's a bit more handholdy which can be a good thing. Next Order is grinding autism hell. I didn't personally like it but I can see other people liking it. It feels more like an mmo if that makes sorta sense. Survive is okay but it's a really slow grind where nothing happens most of the time.

I'd put it at CS > Re:Digitize > World 1 > Next Order = Survive (Survive might feel better on a blind first run desu. I only rated it this low because it's a replay for me and I remember too much where nothing's exciting but it's too fucking slow to get to any of the diverging parts or even "good" parts)

It's an easier soulslike because of the companion who'll take aggro or rez you at times, the meat of the gameplay comes from mixing abilties and passives from blood codes which lets combat be a bit more faster paced despite having a stamina system.

If you're familiar with God Eater you should be familiar with how the story of the game works, it's pure wholesome nakama bonding the entire way through.

Customization for characters is good, clothing is very limited however since you can't customize outfits; you're stuck with presets that you can colour. Also no facial hair for male characters.
