no. he feels like if you took a bunch of good ideas, threw them into the blender until it lost all cohesion and all that's left is pigslop. way too many themes and "cool" things crammed into one entity to the point that it just feels lame rather than actually cool. and when you combine that the basic character design isn't very good it just falls flat.
No and I thought he was particularly fucking bad thematically, along with the painted world shit.I was really ready for Miyazaki to finally write a fucking ending with the fire seemingly going out. Instead he just wrote an escape hatch to yet another fucking Death and Rebirth cycle.
