It's some weird mental illness. They don't want to play with other people, but they join multiplayer servers just to speedrun through the game and do it all over again the moment the server resets. They even join when no one else is on the server just to fight bosses and push progression forwards.
idk why anyone bitches about this, you can literally discuss the game play with everyone on the server. task your team with a group project that involves everyone, so that a single straggler isn't going to 1v1 bosses

>>729107119I've seen multiple attempts at putting a stop to the speedrunners on 4chan servers, every time the admin has to rollback the server on a daily basis because the speedrunners keep showing up when the server is empty just to solo bosses. I even saw one host put up two servers, with one being just for the speedrunners to speedrun on. They still came by daily to fuck the non-speedrunning server.
