Take a picture of your display and see how much brighter it looks. Then try adjusting the exposure until it somewhat closely resembles what you're seeing with your own eyes. They're so on the line where it's not "actually" necessary but it is actually really good once you have it. As well as I'd never had an ultrawide/big gaming monitor before and it really is just that good. I thought it'd be too big and faggy but it's right around perfect sized.
