Steam winter sale breadPost yer hauls
Have a 21 EUR budget, debating between Cyberpunk or Bellwright or Temple of Elemental Evil + Expeditions Rome. Any opinions the gaems? Pros and cons?

Combo of WipEout, Motorstorm and Rollcage.I'm waiting until after Christmas to buy stuff, I might get some gifts from my friends. I did get this, it's cheap and seems promising.https://store.steampowered.com/app/2351170/Doomsday_Jetlag/And also Hunt Down The Freeman because I love playing bad games.
I've heard so many mixed things on Shadows of Doubt. Already grabbed Dredge and Rise of the Golden Idol. >>729117370Expeditions Rome is surprisingly good
Anyone played either of these? Are they fun enough for these prices?
>>729112063>What game is it most similar to? Is it just a base building game with a story and exploration elements?Yeah pretty much just the exploration is more fun since its underwater and the base building is pretty simple which is good if you're someone like me who usually finds the genre to overcomplicated
>>729118313>XIII, Freedom Fighters, and Binary DomainbasedGotta be careful though, XIII had one persistent crash for me in the ruined building level (after the bank) where if you die at all and restart in that level, it just crashesHad to beat that level without dying, seems to be a known issue
any puzzlekings got some niche recommendations?
What do you think?
Is Beyond Citadel actually fun, or is it just for ryona enjoyers? I am not a ryona enjoyer.
>>729118842Alan's Automaton Workshop
>>729117221I was only gonna buy HOI4 and the 3 'must have' DLCs and ended up getting everything but the new one, and i got a couple of Vicky3 and CK3 DLCs, fucking Paradox owns my ass.Got the X4 bundle with Endless Legend 2, Terra Invicta and Old World, EL2 is so fucking good! Also Megabonk, Cloverpit, Hexarchy, Witchfire and Elminage, Cardboard Town, BallxPit, the Royalty DLC for Rimworld and Song Of Syx.Its so fucking over for me...oh and i'm seriously thinking of getting Raidou Remastered and living on ramen cups for the next two months, just like in muh japanese animus.
>>729118842Stephen's Sausage Roll
Just got these r8 or any other recommendations?
>>729119187How the fuck do you use up all your savings by buying like $200 worth of games
>>729119061that's pretty cool but i already have a sizeable zach-like backlogi'll remember it though>>729119261not niche at all
>>729118313>https://store.steampowered.com/app/203750/Binary_Domain/Absolute Kino
>>729118924All shovelwareslop
>>729119309I...made a lot of bad choices, non vidya related.
>>729119312>but i already have a sizeable zach-like backlogThat's fair enoughGorogoa, more chill than the hardcore brainfuck puzzles we're talking aboutUnderstand, basically The Witness puzzles where you have to figure out the rules, without the framing deviceFilament, have to drag cables around lampposts in the correct orderOuros, about dragging a polygonal line so it hits points in the correct order
>>729119020It's legitimately a fun shooter
Giving away keys I got from last month's bundle that I don't want.Z2I0M74FMV8ZYBYTFJIGJ9C70TTQ09
>>729119735Thank you very much
>>729119543>Understandlooks very cool, shame that it's so abstract
Refunding Khazan. Deckies lied about performance, per usual omitting that they were upscaling for their "smooth 50 fps." I dont know why I expect honesty from them at this point. Definitely not worth $40 if I'm not running it native on there.
First anon to post a photo of himself holding a piece of paper that has the current date and says "Hi /v/" gets $100 worth of games. It must be handwritten and your face must be visible. Link your Steam profile along with the games you want and I'll send them
Can someone recommend me a semi-arcade helicopter game? I like the way helicopters handle in games like Battlefield. Not necessarily realistic and autistic, but actually fun to maneuver. I just want to float through the sky. Maybe some FPV drone games offer this type of experience?
>>729119735neat I got the corridor
>>729119735Thanks, anon! I've been eyeing W40K for a week ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝
SAARS, TOO MUCH SHIT IN THIS OFFERS, SAARS
>>729119286dunno how much monster hunter is but it was in a monster hunter bundle earlier this month you missed out on
>>729120228I payed less than $10 for rise and sun break, not the biggest steal but still a good deal in my eyes. Don't know if that was part of the bundle you are talking about.
>>729118313organ trail was pretty fun, picked it along with Nosferatu the wrath of malachi back during the zombies vs vampires sale. Nosferatu was also peak, its a horror fps and its .75 USD rn
>>729120460yeah that still sounds pretty good
Several things from the steam sale proper, and a couple fanatical bundles.
Deciding between these four or Jurassic World Evolution 3
>>729118924Arx Fatalis is pretty great. Are you the cretin who posted the same fanatical cart of slop over and over every single thread last sale? That was hilarious but you chose some OK looking games this time so it's not as funny.
>>729121215Ender Lilies is decent. Nobeta was too much of an asset flip for me to enjoy, with the only effort being put into its boss battles.
>>729119261I swear this is the first time I've seen it on sale since I wishlisted it like eight years ago.
>>729118313>https://store.steampowered.com/app/1430680/Clash_Artifacts_of_Chaos/I've posted it a dozen times, but Clash is easily the best game with the most generic title of all time. For $3 that's a fucking steal.
>>729122318steamdb says it was 75 percent off in fall and last winter sale, and lots of smaller sales in between
which old cheap badly flawed crpg>DSO1>Pathfinder WotR>Age of Decadence
>>729122450Fuck their publisher for not letting them call it Zeno Clash 3
buying games is addicting
>>729118653Berserk is a very generic musou but you can definitely get a decent amount of hours from it
>>729122450I played this game a few months ago and got stuck on the part where you have to fight yourself
>>729123048I wish playing them was
>>729118612Shadows felt too unpredictable for my tastes and I felt like unless you executed plans with absolute perfection you’d end up fucked very easily, but I did spend hours just taking screens and enjoying the atmosphere. Being able to sit and sip a coffee in a diner whilst the pixel snow falls is very kino to me. >>729118842Have you played Puzzle Agent? Sort of like Professor Layton. Lots of fun.>>729122740WotR unless you haven’t played Kingmaker, then do that first.
Just stumbled upon this. Looks like a new take on Goemon's Great Adventure.its 20 burgers right now (50% off)
>>729123048I would rather pay full price to play a game I want to play now than buy 10 games I won't touch even at a deep discount.
I got most of the games I wanted via trades on Lestrades and bundles, this is what I couldn't get that way.
>>729121128>Man I Just Wanna Go HomeWas pretty good, but all "routes" can be done in a hour.>>729121215>Plushie from the Skydesu, I dont think it was worth it, it's something like 3h worth of game, unless you trying to 100% it. Game itself was quite empty.
>>729121619I'm not a cretin
>>729117221I got Megaman 11, I might get the new Lego Star Wars
>>729119348Stfu poorfag
How railroaded is Against the Storm? Is it Frostpunk level?
>>729118924Buy them already, for fucks sake.https://arch.b4k.dev/v/search/image/B3H_PgdQq7KkTS7XlDvbug/
Anyone played Barony? Is it worth getting or skip?
I also bought Blue Prince already.>>729124537Not at all. It's not story-focused even though there is some lore. FWIW I love it and have 250+ hours in it.
What are some cozy city builders/colony sims a la Banished, Farthest Frontier, and Manor Lords? Bonus points for emergent story telling a la Rimworld/DF
>>729117221Thoughts on Noctuary?
>>729125487Ixion is pretty cool but it's a little linear
my cart so far. thoughts?
Starting trails tonight or tomorrow morning. Demo was good
>>729126191Careful it'll make you want to play SC immediately
>>729125798It's 1 of 2 Chinese-made video games that didn't immediately reek of garbage to me, the other being Black Myth: Wukong.Too bad I haven't actually played it yet lmao.>>729126007Why not just emulate the Mega Man games?
>>729122740WotR is the highest quality but i have a soft spot for AoD
Just blocked out the game I gifted someone
>>729126278Yeah I played the originals in 2019. This time I'll do more side questing since the combat is more fun. Love me some ARPG
>>729126280I've already got the first Mega Man collection on Steam from a bundle at some point, and I've got all the achievements, so I want to do that again with the second collection
>>729126431Kingdoms of the Dump is on my wishlist too, it looks like a great Chrono Trigger clone! Have you tried it yet? If so would you recommend it?
Any baseball autists play Out of the Park Baseball? surely at least ONE person
> Crossworlds $50> Stellar Blade $50> Borderlands Pandora Box $35> Kingdom Hearts 1.5 2.5 $25> Katana Zero $9> Dead Space $9> Hades $7.5> Distance $4> Madness Returns $2.5> This War of Mine $2I can get the cheap games obviously but I have some reservations about them (ie Madness Returns looks horribly buggy/laggy on modern Windows). I have about a $50-$60 budget, anyone wanna help me narrow down my list?
Anybody played these?
>>729126470I'm personally waiting for a steeper discount closer to the SC remake release date.
>>729126552Yo the anorexia wife game
>>729126518Yes! Definitely like chrome trigger. Reminded me of it right away. I’d recommend for sure
>>729117221How's this for a metroidvania?
Is thete really no good racing game with actual progression on Steam? It's all either time trial slop or simulation autism.
>>729126620Probably might be a better idea. But I also was thinking of a game I can play on deck and trails seems like a good one
>>729126538More like This Bore of Mine
>>729126831I also have a steam deck
>>729118313>https://store.steampowered.com/app/477740/Zero_Escape_The_Nonary_Games/>>Multiple choice VNs with escape room puzzles and a unique narrative element encouraging replays.I heard that the DS version of 999 is best. are there any reasons to seek out other versions for the rest of this collection?
>>729126807Wreckfest 1
picked up factorio, dwarf fortress, and songs of syx. i'm autismmaxxing
>>729126738Not great. Combat's really floaty and the map is full of rooms that do nothing. It's also really easy to accidentally sequence break and make the story events come out of order which on top of the dodgy translation makes it incomprehensible. If you do play, be aware Hard was the intended difficulty and Normal was added later, because I played without knowing that and it was piss-easy.
>>729126989Did you play the dragon quest remakes? I never played DQ. Are they worth 80
>>729126674It seems interesting, and anorexia social anxiety girls are cute.
Please buy Battlefield 6 out of respect.
>>729127076Thanks for the reply. I'll skip it.
>>729127090No I didn't but I plan to when it's a much cheaper bundle.
>>729126997Not really. VLR is based on the Vita version, so no dual screen gimmics. Same with ZTD if you decide to dive into the depts of that madness.
>>729127108You'll enjoy it if you have a thing for anorexic girls.
>>729127217ok, I think I'll play the DS version of 999 then play the rest on my deck in that case. thank you for your prompt response my good friend.
>>729127241I mean she's extremely cute, but what about the actual story?
>>>729103140forwarding recs from last thread because why not
>>729127118> small maps> please clap
What I've discovered with time is that the mark of a great strategy game is if can keep most of the numbers single digit
Thoughts?
>>729126552Return to Shironagasu Island is great. The production value -- voice talent, amount of CGs, choice variety -- is way higher than you'd initially expect and puts many bigger budget titles to shame. It's not too long and has some tonal shifts that one could argue are a bit amateur-ish at times, but they only served to keep my attention, and I think the flaws are charming in a way. The detective mystery game it starts out as works rather well; it's not too convoluted and it's very doable to reason along. The main girl is a failure a la Tomoko, and the developer doesn't mind whoring out her hairy pits in the (hilarious) extra story, so I think it's worth reading just for her alone. And honestly, a VN set on "literally Epstein island" should be enough of a reason by itself to pick it up anyways
>>729127607Such as
>>729117221This game keeps staring at me to play it but I'm aware of its mixed reception. I heard both positives and negatives and some more positives but I'm still indecisive. Give it to me straight, is it fun?
>>729127745Rise is pretty good. If you're new to the series, make sure you don't use the Defender armor/weapons because that's intended to let you breeze through the earlygame and get right to the DLC which is all endgame content.
>>729127904Have you played Trials of Mana? If yes and liked it then play this one because it looks like improvement.
>>729128078Yeah I liked trials
>>729127745Insect Glaive is great, play it and enjoy it while you can, as it's pretty much the only iteration of it that's this good
