Bro this boss is impossible
How the FUCK did millennialboomers beat Super Mario 64 without a guide?
>>729121412>punch him>kick him >ground pound him>throw him off the mountain>nothing worksfuck this cryptic boomer BS.
someday there will be a thread made in good faith and we can talk like adults
>>729123238I don't know how people can constantly hide behind irony. It's tiresome. I'd rather make genuine posts generally
>>729123238>>729123601Go ahead and talk about Bob-omb Battlefield and the Boss without any irony. Go ahead. I'm inviting you to do that right now
>>729123773this is exactly the shit I'm talking about
>>729123238make a thread yourself instead of ruining the fun for others
>>729123773It's a good introduction level that teaches most of the basics of the game. Which was really important since 3D platformers were an emerging genre.
>will track you indefinitely unless you let him walk forward a couple of stepsNever understood why this happens, it's like they wanted to make the fight a little fair for him.
>>729124050fun? are you really claiming you're having fun?
>>729124050>haha yes I will once again call this popular game bad LOLMightve been fun the first couple of times. Thread #700000000 of this exact same thing? You'd have to be a literal retard.
>>729124295Are you really asking that on the website known for pretending to be retarded to have fun
>>729123891So you couldn't do it. Sad. >>729124076I'd say it's decent, I think the issue with talking about a game like this now is we're so deep into the genre and everything that evolved from it that it's hard to look back on this without any level of bias. Even if I'm trying to remember playing it for the first time I remember it not being very interesting. There's very little intrigue to the level and it doesn't really "teach" you anything. You wander until you make it to the top with with the boss fight and then by trial and error alone you might win.
>>729124295if I say yes, will you stop bitching and let others have fun?
>>729125476Yeah it's hard to be unbiased. I'm probably biased in favor since playing a 3d game at home blew my mind as a kid. Probably cut Nintendo a little slack too since I don't believe it was the first 3d platformer but I'm pretty sure it was rhe first good one
>>729123773A bit boring but necessary and competent area/boss for people to practice the controls and movement
