Put out a decent rapid fire set of 2D games about the scale of Dread, one every three-ish years, that moves a basic plot along and expands the universe. Give players an arc of evolving gameplay and story ideas that players can spend a few years following and developing continued interest in. Let players get invested in something ongoing, rather than going out of their way to play a much older title.

He failed and was left alone as a sole survivor of a squad he inadvertently killed. He’s just sat contemplating his failure and inadequacy. Then he looks up to see Samus Aran. The golden hero of the federation. That inadequacy spilled into jealousy and envy and he became obsessed with proving his self as a capable bounty hunter/soldier. He’s mentally broken by prime 4 and just wants to kill samus to prove to himself that he is more than her. I like that it’s open to interpretation but it was undercooked. He should have spoken a lot more throughout the game. Personally I really like him now and hope he returns in prime 5 which will totally happen despite everyone hating prime 4.
I played Prime 1 for the first time earlier this year, I somehow only realized like 80% through the game that it was just a 'collect all the pieces hidden around the map to fight one final boss' simulator. 6/10 game at best, I will NOT be playing the rest of the Prime series and instead will be jerking off to futanari Samun.
