I feel like I’m retarded playing terraria, like feel like I’m doing unbearably slow progress when I shouldn’t, it should not take me more than 2 hours for a full gold or platinum armour and further more I always see people with wings and shit that makes you fly, how do you get them so early, like what the hell am I doing wrong, I also over prepare for the eye of chthulu, I also never get lucky with finding the speed shoes

>>729130562Up to you, you'll likely be missing some upgrades at one point though. If you stay on one world you'll find boots eventually, IIRC there's three different types in different biomes

Everyone progresses differently-some people cheese bosses with traps, others mine for hours before even considering building a house. If you're enjoying your time, that's literally the only metric that matters. The tryhards flexing boots and wings in 30 minutes are just min-maxing nerds who memorized every chest spawn pattern. Play chill, play dumb, play slow-it's all valid.

>>729129767I always skip mining any pre hardmode ore and go straight to Shadow/Crimson armor.If I wear anything better than wood prior to Crimson/Shadow armor is because I had spare ingots from chests.
