i've played the first hyrule warriors before. i loved how much content that game had. i'm getting a switch 2 soon and i played the demo for pic related at wal mart and thought it was really good. it felt really good to play. should i get this as one of my first switch 2 games? or should i ignore it and just buy hyrule warriors definitive edition?
>>729130709Definitive Edition has even more content than the first game, because its just the first game plus like 7 DLC packs all bundled together. It's 1000-1400 hours of mind-numbing map to Musou your way through. If you love getting lost in that feeling of constantly unlocking new map tiles, getting incremental upgrades and on very rare occasion getting a good weapon drop then its gold for you.The one you posted has less map control and much more involved combat, which is up to you if you enjoy. You don't defend allied keeps as enemies don't try to capture them and instead enemies are 10x more agressive and varied than in the first hyrule warriors. Skillsets are also more complex to go along with it, so it feels like a combo/juggle/counter game than a map control game. It's very short compared to the first, I think it was like 80-90 hours to beat it all, but it offers multiple difficulties unlike the first and playing through it on harder levels yields bonus loot and crazy high challenge. Both are good styles of game, depends on if you like a game overflowing with stuff to do or a short game with a tight experience.
