I get that every generation has this moment where they all bask in the nostalgia of their youth that they claim was superior, but in the case of people who grew up in the 90's and early 2000's it is actually objectively true when it comes to games. I don't even think most zoomers would disagree that media and games are in a much worse state now than 15-20 years ago.
