yes it's for people who like roleplaying and using their imagination to plan out each moveI wish it were more of an open world bethesda style tho. I'm not crazy about main stories in games like this

>>729132781I like it alot though the plot isn't very interesting. finished another multiplayer game over the weekend, we were so powerful at the end that we could one round basically any enemy in the game, we took out both dragons before they could do a single thing. it's got a decent sandbox and it discards the magical item restriction of 5E so the amount of bullshit you're allowed to wear is insane, there's some real fun class/gear combos in the game

It's starting to show it's age, just managing your whole party can be so cumbersome sometimes because the AI can get stuck and you have to link/unlink your party and move the characters one by one. Not to mention all the inventory management and the thousands of crates/barrels you rummage through. I hope Divinity streamlines all of this shit away and makes the combat play out a bit faster too.

Everything drops dramatically in quality right before Act 2 ends, and in Act 3 you realize that after half a decade in early access and more than 10 years in development, it's still a half finished game and the level cap at 12 proves this even more. It's a 5E game where you play as a pre-lvl 5 character for 40 hours, I don't think I'll ever give this game a second chance.

Act 3 is a mess, Karlach doesn't get her quest and for the longest time, she would just die no matter what you did in your playthrough. Only recently she got a patch where she gets the option to go live in Hell along with the niggur if he also lives till then.
