Is there any validity to this classification system?

Brotherhood of Steel shouldn't even be in there, unless there's a "discarded" category

The question is this
>is there a valid reason to group fallout 1 and 3 together, and 2 and nv together based on the tones of the games
>>
>>729138370
It is valid because Fallout 3 and 4 are based
Nuff said

This point may seem valid at first, until you remember that fallout 3 and 4 had all sorts of stupid shit like vault of Garys and kid in the fridge, while the brunt of New Vegas' stupid shit can be turned off by not having the Wild Wasteland perk. Tonally, new vegas and 2 is closer to 1.

2 is just a straight outlier tonally
all the other games have a pretty consistent tone

the proper classification
>fallout - RPGs:
1, 2
>fallout - first person shooters
3, new vegas, 4, 76
>fallout - misc. spinoffs
everything else
