Is RPGmaker even actually better than unreal if you are trying to make a standard pixel graphics turn based rpg?

As long as you play Space Funeral and internalize the life lesson presented in its ending do anything, LITERALLY anything, but don't fucking use the default graphics then yeah, sure.

You trade wasting time remaking the wheel for wasting time on inefficiencies in RPG Maker. Most people who get into a flow prefer the latter despite the obvious issues, but most people aren't making very ambitious games.
