I shit on Nightreign for over a year and didn't buy it because it looked like a cash grab er rehash. I bought it a few days ago and I'm having more fun with it than with base elden ring. But for context, I have over 1k hours in ER and I love co-op in these games and nightreign is basically just ER co-op mode its great if you like co-op in the base games and want more and despite what I'd heard about the Nightloards being tough as shit, because you're playing co-op they're not too bad. I've just been playing with random people and have beaten the first 3 nightlords like that in a few days.

It's great if you get to pick it up on a sale, I don't know if it's worth full prince but it has an enjoyable gameplay loop. People recommend friends but dealing with randoms can be part of the fun.
