It's a good game if you take mushrooms, mute the radio, put on some music of your own choice, and bathe in the neon visuals. But fuck off with the actual "game."
It was a huge disappointment at release. I played it, gave it a 6/10 and never looked back.The reason it's considered a great game now is 1. only people who liked the game stuck around for the updates2. shit like starfield came out making it look retroactively amazing by comparison

Open world hurts the game so much, most quests are too simple and boring, dlc tries too hard and swings into opposite direction, but I like it more than vanilla game. My biggest issue with cp77 is that v is not the main character of the game, hrs a fucking vessel to bring keanu to a plot scene to trigger dialogues. Because of it, this game will never be as good as even human revolution.

In mafia 2 there was this montage of you and your best friend doing jobs for the family. Cyberpunk tries to do the same, Jackie even looks like Joe, and fails at it. Because by the time we see the montage in mafia, it's around middle of the campaign. We already had missions with Joe, who saved and helped Vito on many occasions just because of their friendship, expecting nothing in return. And cdpr shoves this kind of montage at the beginning, without any chance of me getting to even know the character, and then expects me to feel sad once this retard dies? The whole game is like that. People don't make sense, situations happen because they must, and every plothole is covered by "look, we have fucking neo on screen saying offensive things"
