>>729147958People were making hacked together airships using the balloon items in BotW, so the devs decided to make a vehicle system for this game. However they made it a grindy pain in the ass to actually use the vehicles, the world is a copy paste of BotW, the shrines (which were bad in BotW) are much worse, and the dungeons (which they said would be a bigger focus) are even simpler than the divine beasts.It really seems like they spent the whole time working on the physics system, which is really good, but it just doesn't fit well with the rest of the game. Enemies either can't respond to your vehicles or they outright despawn them, and the puzzles with the vehicle parts are way too simple and easy to be interesting. It was really a collosal waste of a great physics system.
