Also about 8 new boss fights, tag battles with the story characters, a lot of returning Pokémon, a pretty decently lengthed story, some new modes like boss rush and survival, and about 80 new side quests. Also you can unlock the clothes for the story characters, including their hair. The biggest plus for me is it makes the grindy gameplay loop of the initial postgame way more rewarding. Every battle earns you rare items and balls, research tasks that help you find Gimmighoul coins or catching shiny Pokémon. It’s a must buy for the game, it upgrades it in every way you’d want.
