I want a new Kane and Lynch game so badly, bros...
>>
No you don't
>>
Go "play" the existing ones and say that again.
>>
Kane and Lynch 2 is one of the few games that can actually be considered art.

Didn't they scrap this franchise indefinitely?

I just replayed 1 and 2 last week and yes I'm gonna say it again I want a new one: 2's grittiness, the atmosphere and haunting ambiences are just otherworldly I fucking love this shit. 1 was just okay at best but they had to start somewhere.
>>
I liked playing 2 with a buddy and laughing with each other over how Lynch kept making all those "Lynch Sounds" during play

Do I have to play the first one to understand the second?
The second's cover heart always looked wicked cool to me. Dude looks like this guy from Heat

Why did he do it?

They repeatedly talk about stuff that happend in 1, so I'm not saying you should play it but if you really want to understand Kane and Lynch's motives in 2 then yes, play 1 first. Both games combined won't take longer than 7 hours to beat it, and it's always on sale on GOG.
