WHY ARE SWITCH 2 GAMES SO EXPENSIVE!?
>>
>>729153882
Just make a jap account to buy from their Eshop for fair prices.
>>
>>729153882
Literally the same price as PS5 and Xbox games.
>>
The cheapest console is now just the weakest console, you voted for this with your wallet.
>>
>>729154020
Wasn't that always true?
>>
Switch 2 cartridge media is the fastest form of physical media out there. This comes as a price, but faster performance is always worth it.
>>

>Switch 2 cartridge media is the fastest form of physical media out there
I dont think you can prove this to be true.
>>

Switch 1 games are expensive because they never go on sale, obviously Switch 2 games will be the same. Nintendo is the most expensive platform to partake in despite having the cheapest buy in price. It's funny, PC has the highest buy in but is the cheapest long term and PS5/Xbox have a higher buy in than Nintendo but dirt cheap games.
>>
>>729154441
>Switch 1 games are expensive because they never go on sale
Yes they do.
Which ones "never go on sale"? I'll fact check you.
>>
>>729154520
"Never go on sale" is hyperbole but the sales prices are more expensive than elsewhere. A good Switch 1 sale is when a game is $40(This is the price Mario Odyssey is currently at on the eshop, an 8 year old game), a good third party sale or Sony/Xbox published sale is when the game is $10-$20, I remember picking up some $5 games when I bought a PS4 late into the life of the console. Persona 3 Reload on Switch 2 was $30 yesterday at Amazon as an example of how quickly prices of third party games drop, it's cheaper than Mario Odyssey despite having the same MSRP and releasing 2~ months ago.
>>
because of greed. all games will be $100 next year after gta 6 releases too
>>

>A good Switch 1 sale is when a game is $40(This is the price Mario Odyssey is currently at on the eshop, an 8 year old game)
It was 50% off (30usd) at its best deal, according to Deku Deals on the 19th of December. Both physical and digital, brand new.

Okay but it's currently $40 on the eshop right now, Nintendo isn't even matching their lowest previous price for some reason, and even at $30 you're still looking at a game that's much more expensive than like Horizon 1, or Persona 5 on PS4 which were on sale for $5 and that was only a few years after release, not 8. I remember picking of God of War 2017 for $10 back in late 2018, right now if I want to buy a Switch 1 game to go with the Switch 2 that I just bought it's $40.

Nintendo has the most expensive ecosystem by far. Even the controller was $90.

>right now if I want to buy a Switch 1 game to go with the Switch 2 that I just bought it's $40.
Or you could wait for a sale.
You're pretending like its everyone else's fault that you are choosing to spend more money than yoy have to.
>>
>>729155162
>"NOOOO YOU CAN'T USE PAST EXAMPLES OF GOOD PRICES!!!"
>"I BOUGHT THIS GAME FOR $5 IN 2017..."
lol
lmfao
>>
>>729155162
>Nintendo has the most expensive ecosystem by far. Even the controller was $90.
Nintendo has always been the premium brand. People seethe at this but Xbox and Sony are literally made for thirdworlds.
Also fuck paying $70 for games. I got Prime 4 for $60 because of a Besr Buy coupon .

It's called the Switch 2 because you Switch 2 another console.
>>
>>729155270
>>729155413
Again, even at $30 that's 3 to 6 times more expensive than the PS4 games I bought late in the PS4s life. Nintendo has the worst game prices in the industry, which is why the ecosystem is the most expensive to be in. That's why third worlders seethe about Nintendo when there's no emulator for the games.

>>729155420
>Nintendo has always been the premium brand
No, it wasn't. Nintendo Selects used to be the same price as the Playstation Greatest Hits and Nintendo had a cheaper buy in price for their console as well during the Gamecube, Wii, and Wii U.
>>
>>729155502
And that means "Nintendo literally never has any sales before $40"....how exactly?
You are getting wildly off topic.
>>
>>729155558
>before $40
>*under $40
Dunno how i fucked that up
>>
>>729155558
Are you retarded?
>"Never go on sale" is hyperbole but the sales prices are more expensive than elsewhere.
>>
>>729155502
Nintendo is the premium brand because the games stayed at a solid price and the hardware was usually better because it was a dedicated console and not a shitty mini PCnwith DRM.
>>
>>729153882
jews
>>
>>729153882
>buy first party game for 70 dollar day one
>play them for 2-3 weeks
>re-sell for 50-60

easy
>>
>tfw missed the glitch were cp2077 was 80% off on the eshop
FUCK WHY
>>
>>729155639
And you alresy confirmed that under $30 is a good sale, in your opinion.

I dont know what point you are trying to make anymore.
>>
>>729155712
>the games stayed at a solid price
That wasn't true when they were using discs, which is what the consoles I listed had in common. They were premium in the cartridge era of the NES through the N64 but that was their undoing when the Playstation started destroying them by offering cheap games and then Nintendo pivoted into a budget brand for a bit to compete.

Yeah, you're retarded. That game I mentioned being $30 released two months ago which is why it's a good price. A good sale for an 8 year old game is not the same. Companies like Sega, Capcom and Square constantly put their games on sale for $30 3 months after release. At the 8 year mark, they're $5-$10, see: Yakuza 0 before the rerelease.
