It was. Sadly it's now getting a 180 in public perception because the demakes succeeded in what it was trying to do.

I know every game is fun with friends so it's barely a point to its favour, but RE6 is still up there with Lost Planet 2 and Timesplitters for my fav splitscreen games. Never a dull moment in this shit, even when there's downtime you can fuck around with the schmovement mechanics it seems to only have for Mercenaries, which is also amazing.

Killing players as zombies was neat

Those who attack Resident Evil 6 are sublimating their hatred of themselves. You don't have friends to co-op with. You can't play the game as intended, because you're a loner. Rather than admit to this social defect in your own life, you pass the fault onto the game. "The game is broken, not me." You're fooling no one but yourself with this charade.

I'm gonna give RE6 another go soon. I don't think I gave it a good chance before.
