99% of games still play and control identically to Halo. If you look at RE4 or Morrowind than obviously those games feel a lot more jank

>>729161213You got the melee thing backwards. People would typically run directly at eachother shooting while aiming for headshots, and the melee would be the killing blow. It also wasn't the "only" thing you could do. You could bait it and juke if you had the skill. You could bait it and put a sticky in the other guy's face if you grabbed one. You could try for the grenade to outdamage instead. The fights only looked to be the same to you because you just don't like the game.
