Warping would be fixed if you could only wrap to >Firelink Shrine>Anor Londo>Lost IzalithAnd that's it
Areas without fast travel have so many shortcuts it doesn't matter.
I never got why people complain about the ability to warpTrekking from Anor Londo all the way back to the Undead Parish would not only be a huge waste of time since you've grabbed all the items on your first run, but it's just an obnoxious time wasterThat's why all these people who claim to hate warping still use it. If they really meant it they wouldn't use it then and would suffer in silence
who cares mancode vein 2 in a month
>>729165973And what shortcuts does the Tomb of the Giants have
>>729165432Swap out Lost Izalith for the Daughter of Chaos bonfire for easier access to Quelana, Shiva, and Ash Lake, while still being close to Lost Izalith. This also makes sense lore-wise since it'd mean you could only warp to bonfires with one of the game's 3 living firekeepers: Anastacia, Darkmoon Knightess, and the Fair Lady.
Warping is necessary But it should never be available at the start like in ER
no warping needed. just design a circular world with firelink at the center.
>>729167438Then draw it up for us
>>729165432nigger warping is optional, don't want it don't use it.
>>729168438Then why isn't it optional from the start?
>>729168438Then why does everyone complain Indian
>>729165432wait till you find out warping was fixed in the launch version of the game
>>729168438What a retarded argument. Players will take the path of least resistance and optimize the fun out of a game if given the option. If DS1 gave you the Black Knight Halberd for beating the Asylum Demon, it wouldn't be the player's fault for using it for the rest of the game so much as it'd be the devs' fault for giving you such an overpowered weapon in the first place. It's the duty of the developer to fine-tune their game to prevent players from cheapening the experience for themselves by taking easy outs. This is why DS1 is rightfully praised for locking fast travel behind the last third of the game.
DS2 did it better
>>729165432Elden Ring is better
>>729170643Okay? That's not what the thread is even about
Anti-warping retards are the biggest inbreds of all time. Dude, why the fuck are you pretending that backtracking or going through the same area over and over again is in any way appealing? There's a reason for warping in the first place.Kill video game essays fans. Genuine 60 IQ subhumans.
Warping might be more interesting if there were optional bosses hidden in each area that are a bit cryptic to find, but once you reveal and beat them, you've kind of proven that there's nothing left for you to do in this area and you 'deserve' a warp spot.
Warping should be unlocked per bonfire with something valuable like a fire keeper soul.
>>729170760I think the purpose is to not go to everywhere all the time, and that going somewhere takes a toll and is a thouhgtout choice.
>>729165432Warping is fine. Only troons have an issue with skipping walks you already made.
>>729165432Elden Ring is worse
Dork Souls
>>729170931Yeah I was thinking like maybe after Anor Londo you're given only 3 items to put on a bonfire permanently to warp to and it's up to you to decide which ones
>>729165432This would still ruin the point.
