What are some non sandbox/simulation games where you can customize your environment and experience? Ones where the game has a "focus", but it actually hopes that you'd just go fucking around exploring and messing around and lets you drag shit back to your base and move stuff around

I like VotV's take on it, the stated "focus" is signal collecting but the real focus is exploring and just pissing about and you can just do what you like in this big world
