Last night, I had the most fun with FINAL FANTASY XIV ONLINE i've had in years...in my dream. For context, google "Elden Ring Lawsuit", i sued Bandai Namco and FROM SOFTWARE over Elden Ring's hidden world.

In the dream, I finally accessed FINAL FANTASY XIV ONLINE's parallel dimension. The password was to kill a certain Notorious NM tied to a FATE with an alliance.

After killing the NM, everyone in the alliance, including me, was warped to the "new world", according to the ingame message.

In FF14's parallel world, there were no FATES (only leves, like 1.0), hardcore was enabled, and there was world pvp. In a MMO world with less than 100 players, the land was desolate, completely unexplored.

I wanted to find Bahamut. I woke up thinking i finally kept my promise and proved to the developers I would find their hidden game...then I woke up...and I realized it was just a dream..

Has /v/ ever had more fun dreaming about a videogame than actually playing it irl?
