Is it normal to play open world games like GTA or Cyberpunk purely to go for walks around the world? Or does that make me autistically weird?
>>
I actually enjoy the first person cab rides in GTA IV -.-
>>

Nah, GTA V does look really good. I enjoy the sunsets.
>>
>>729173180
Nah cruising around in Cyberpunk(VR) is very peaceful
>>
>>729173180
The cool thing about games is you can play them however you want. I play cyberpunk by mostly walking around and looking at stuff. Its so pretty

>Is it normal to play open world games

Nope thats why these games need more world interactions like sitting everywhere, eating at restaurants, playing minigames etc
>>
>>729173180
anything more than a quick sith lord roleplay on the bridge of a star destroyer before moving on is extremely autistic
>>
>>729173180
For me, it was watching the train passing by in San Andreas.

Thanks neph.

I like driving all the different cars in GTAO
>>
>>729173180
Any Austin, try playing GTA SA for once dude
>>
Yeah I liked to just drive around in GTAV in first person a lot.
>>
>>729173180
No, they're pretty games and they make highway driving fun. IRL it's boring, but in the game I can just zip between traffic and it's no big deal if I bump someone. I used to just grab a motorcycle and make laps around the island listening to music in GTA. I only played online a little because of the atrocious load times, but I liked role playing as my character and just living their life. I'd roam around, visit stores, and just drive and shop like they were a real person I was watching ala Truman Show or something.

It is pretty weird to admire art in any case
>>
>>729174148
But I don't know how many individual power cables are in the whole city yet.
>>
>>729173180
I also like walking around sometimes, especially in fully fleshed out worlds like in GTA or Skyrim

I liked hanging out with friends in GTA 4. Playing pool mostly, since I like pool IRL too but have no friends to play it with and I'm embarassed to go to the pool hall alone

I get this sense when I 100% a game and have nothing else to do, but doing it as a substitute to actually walking is autistic

me while slowly pressing up on a joystick and drinking in another cinematic god ray vista instead of going outside or having to be seen or talk to anyone

Cruising around Night City is one of the best parts of Cyberpunk
>>
>>729173180
Its fine.
>>
>>729173180
Cyberpunk I get, but why GTA? It's just bland realism.
>>
Of course not. They're designed to be detailed for a reason.
>>
>>729173252
cute :3

It's a proper living city with tons of small details. Go up to the oil derricjs and hear the rusty squeak of the mechanism you'd never know existed in normal gameplay. Check out the ships at the port and notice all the industrial blips and bloops. There's a ton to the world that tou don't notice while driving.
I akso really enjoy wandering about real towns and cities. Used to soend entire weekends walking around various districts of Seoul and doing it in GTA replicates that feeling perfectly.
>>
>>729173180
I like the idea of doing that, but I never do. Same with continuing them after finishing the main story
>>
>>729173180
>Vivec to Dagon Fel
>Leyawiin to Bruma
>Riften to Solitude
I always take a long walk at the end of every one of my TES playthroughs
>>
>>729173180
This is why I prefer V over IV, the HD universe sucked compared to the 3D universe but at least in V there's tons of things you can explore at and get lost to.

I like to do this in Deus Ex Mankind Divided.
Prague is tiny but has a ton of detail and oozes atmosphere.

It's more common than you think, but it does make you autistic.
