I like Omori but I do feel there's way too much of a disconnect between the dream world and the actual plot. I get that's the point. Escapism and all that but I don't think it blends well together.

The only good thing about this game are cute girls and some small moments that feel soulful. But sadly what brings it down is that the game is very obviously torture porn and the (female) developer got off on first creating these wholesome characters and then making them suffer to absurd levels while also bending any sense of logic to her will just to satisfy her sick kinkIf I made Omori it would just end with Sunny telling Mari what's wrong and his big sister cuddling him for a long time before gently jerking him off with her thighs to soothe him

Amazing game. The very last reveal got me good. One of it's strengths is that it's not actually about what you think it is. You gotta play thought it fully to uncover the meaning of everything.Great story, good characters, good art, great soundtrack, ok gameplay. The underwater hotel part is the only one I feel drags on for too long.
Still waiting on Mari's fangame(s) and for Omocat to do something else with this IP beyond merchandise and that manga (impossible).
