I've played roughly 20 hours of this game, it's just not very fun. I wish I could like it, I really do. There's just so many small annoyances about it though that really detract from it. I had similarish thoughts on the first game too. Anomalies are just extremely fucking irritating and tedious. Just now I've got a dude in the middle of an electrical field, can easily get to him, but he can't get out as easily as I can so he dies, I reload it 5 times before I close the game and take a break.
>>729189727i thought the same and so I've dropped it after like 12 hours. it's like a million years behind fallout 3 and that game is 15 years old
>>729189727A year of updates hasn't improved it?
>>729191828the game is bad on a fundamental level. the devs don't care about gaming conveniences that were invented 20 years ago and they don't respect player's time either. they have their own vision of this ""immersive"" and miserable experience and they won't change it.
>>729192125>gaming conveniences that were invented 20 years agoSuch as?
>>729192297Joining factions serves no purpose.Lots of fetch quests where you MUST go back and talk the the quest giver to turn in the quest which means lots of running. Fast travel would be nice.
>>729192125Stalker to me means on some level a miserable experience kekAnd I haven't played this game, but I can speak for the others and I think you should give them another chance. Having said this, that stuff you said about the game design not respecting the player's time is something that I read about this game more than a few times now. Again, I haven't played it, but I think you may be onto something, at least from a normie viewpoint and regarding previous updates (they supposedly fixed a bunch of things) . These games were always broken on some fundamental level and players who dig that shit just grok it because we learn to enjoy on another fundamental level. lmao
>>729193673bro... it's STALKER
>>729189727>I wish I could like it, I really do.imo there is no worse feeling than this, because if you don't like a game, that's it, you drop it and move on, but this gives an insight so powerful to the point that it's impossible to not think about the wasted potential, what it could have been, and that hurts way more
