I played the remake for 3 hours, but I didn't like the gameplay. Also, I hated the fact that all the lockers were locked and you needed a combination to open them. I didn't want to backtrack, so I just looked them up online.

The mistakes the remakes make are mind boggling. You almost had and then fucked it up in the oddest way.
RE3MAKE is even worse in this regard, the dodge mechanic is really fun and then they cut out the clock tower and the Disposal plant.

RE5. everything mechanics wise is a step up from RE4. which was already incredible. even the pacing was quite good as MOST of the chapters was mad fun

but the forced co-op sucks. mercs united being a console exclusive sucks and random spawn in mercs REALLY sucks. some FC's can only really be done in a certain spawn.
