The final boss of games with nonexistent fanbases. A secondary's wet dream and a tertiary's breeding grounds. Somehow one of the most influential games of all time, uncontested in its scope, yet you could count those who have finished it themselves with just both hands. Natural gatekeeping at its finest.

The music is pretty comfy.

I know exactly 1 guy who for sure played this game, and I learned about him in the Deltarune threads like 4 months ago.
>>
Also like, is this game any good?
I didn't play it either but I've looked at it a couple times.

I'm learning 日本語 so I can play it undefiled by western hands

>The final boss of games with nonexistent fanbases
I'd imagine so it wasn't officially brought to the west until like 2019 nearly a quarter of a century after it's initial release. though I don't know a soul who acts like they were fans of it to begin with. I thought it was a neat little weekend game when I played it. Is the obvious attempt at another lightning in a bottle "Stray children"? any good?

I'd say it's a memorable experience if a little slow at the start when you don't have much time to do things.

It’s a neat game but a little obtuse at times which also makes it cooler in some ways since there are tons of events you’ll miss the first time you play.

I mean there's a problem with your assertion is barely anyone bought moon when it released.

I finished this game a couple years back, always wanted to give it a try and it ended up genuinely being one of my favorite experiences in gaming.
The gameplay is nothing to write home about, but the character design (done by the same person/team as super mario RPG) really brings it to life.
I can't lie, i am a huge Motherfag. I love all 3 mother games, and yeah of course i like undertale and deltarune too.
Come to imagine the shock when i realize that there is a fuck ton of concepts ripped wholesale from moon to undertale/deltarune. not like i mind, but it's just interesting to see the progression.
I still wish the cut alternate ending would get restored and added as like an easter egg or something, but it makes the story way more confusing than necessary and detracts from the point of the real ending and intent of the game in the first place
