Going to buy either Avowed or Tainted Grail. I like how the combat works in Avowed, and I don't mind the leveled loot shit. Are the companions annoying? How is tainted grail, build wise? Can I get rare swords to defeat my enemies? Does either have a postgame?

>>729197403I'd say they're mostly pretty good, collection quests aside. If you've got an itch to explore (which you should!), you can find some really interesting places on each of the maps- the three acts. (I've not tried the DLC, but I'll get around to it in the new year)
