Man, I wish caffeine actually gave me energy or perked me up. All it does is keep me from sleeping. I have a morning cup of coffee and it doesn't seem to peek me up. I feel better because the warm drink is nice but it doesn't clear the fog or make my eyelids any less heavy. If I have coffee in the afternoon I feel the same before and aafter. If it's getting late and I have coffee I'll still be just as exausted but if I try to sleep I will just toss and turn. Nothing beats being tired and wanting to sleep while you're in your third hour of just laying there with your eyes shut. I'm not asking for cocaine levels of energy and alertness. Just a little nudge, shake the fog out just a little.
