I have 4 for free via psn+, and I bought the complete edition of 3 for 20 on PS5Which one is the better game? Should I get a refund on 3?

D3 is more arcade and speed running based. D4 is more generators and spenders style gameplay until you get into the talent boards. it's a little slower and has rolling, though I don't use it outside of bosses. has a connected overworld instead of waypoint teleport, and mounts. also pushes the cosmetic shop harder. I still play 3, Uninstalled four unless a friend wants to play it.they're different games.

I think the launch state of 3 was way worse, but 3 had a golden period somewhere around its mid-days I guess, like after RoS released but not so far that they had cranked the drop rate to insane levels and turned the whole game into grinding paragons for main stat points. It was really good and I really enjoyed it in that period.Diablo 4 I played at release, played a character to max level and then never played again. It just felt mediocre, honestly I only bought it because I wanted to co-op with a friend, the free beta or whatever the hell they ran had already convinced me the game was mediocre before buying and I wasn't wrong. Not sure if / how much it has changed since launch, but I haven't seen anything major to draw me back in.

There's two new classes (animal monk and paladin) if you feel like paying for them.But at its core it is still fundamentally D4. and no amount of cosmetics or class updates will change the gameplay.
