It's very good despite the last 1/3rd of the game.
>>729207452It was never a masterpiece, but it was an extremely fun game because it focused on slow, deliberate combat in an era where everything was either an over the top DMC style juggler, an FPS, or a moviegame. It was just wildly different from everything that existed in 2011 and that along with its interconnected world gave it a lot of charm.Now, even its own creators don't understand what made it great and modern Souls games have given the bosses DMC style combos and turned combat into rollspam spectacles and think just making it hard is making it fun.
