One thing that always bothered me about this game is how the game sort've treats getting PK'd as being as scary as actually dying IRL at some points

It's another game that does really well at emulating the feeling of playing a single player mmo. Like you can walk around towns full of other player characters to talk and trade with.I mostly got suckered into playing it because of an old webm that used to float around here showing that you could hold hands and princess carry whoever you romanced in those games around towns.

I played Flyff at the highest level for 10 years (2004 - 2014) and the whole experience always reminded me of .hack//, especially the interactions with other players.
