>>729210276The reason the nintendo switch 2 has a bigger resolution is not because it's "More capable"It's due to economies of scale.They simply managed to source 1080p 120Hz displays cheaply(they also got very smeary displays).Other than that nothing other than the simplest of nintendo titles can make use of it.(not to mention the aggressive use of FSR).Same is also true for the Steam Deck on high end titles but the Steam deck never pretended it could.In addition to that the 90Hz display is far more useful because you can cut the refresh rate from 90 to 45, 30, and even 15 without affecting frame pacing.
