So of course, tons of mistakes were made in the first attempt (like having NO IN-GAME MAP). I don't see how recognizing that the first game being the weakest would suddenly invalidate you from being fan of the series despite playing many entriesSame thing with Mother 1. It's the weakest of the trilogy purely because of how dated it is, and the series got better gameplay-wise with each iteration
