The only bad REmake is 3 because it was outsourced and half-assed, they cut out so much it's borderline unrecognizable. Even as a sequel to RE2make it's a disappointment. The amount of wasted potential is agonizing.As far as REmakes go 1 is a slight downgrade, 2 is an overall upgrade, 3 is a massive downgrade, and 4 is a sidegrade.Most of the RE games are short enough that there's no reason not to play them all, originals and remakes. 4 is on the longer side but not too bad, and the gameplay is fun enough in both for them not to be a slog. I would sooner play all of the remakes 10 times each than play RE0 or RE6 again ever.
